Aaron van Bindsbergen is the head designer and founder of noranora.design. After having worked for high-end design brands like moooi and Fest as manger product development for over 10 years. He is using his experience to come up with a modern take on high quality design products. By the slogan ‘archetypical design for pragmatic sustainability’ he is designing a range of furniture products to come out under the noranora label. 

The label is founded on two pillars, making sustaineble products without dealing with company herritage and designing not for ‘the new’ but for the better. The brand is a perfect mix of all the experience he gained in the field over the past years. Not only has Aaron combined conventional sustainable solutions in his designs but also, this results in a very agile operational approach that clients will benefit from. 

The inspiration for his designs come from ‘non-designed’ products in mostly non western cultures. “There you can see how people with no design education mass produce chairs according to the same worldwide principles. As a trained designer this principle of archetypes is fascinating to me and I want to use this thin line between the ‘known’ and ‘new’ to play with in our collection”.
